Justin Fear

Justin Fear is a Bioinformatics Scientist at Pairwise since June 2021, with prior experience as a Bioinformatic Engineer II at the National Cancer Institute from August 2020 to June 2021 and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases from October 2015 to August 2020. Educationally, Justin Fear holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Genetics and Genomics from the University of Florida, where studies have been ongoing since 2010, and previously earned a Master of Science (MS) in Animal Molecular Cellular Biology from the same institution from 2007 to 2010, as well as a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Animal Sciences from the University of Missouri-Columbia from 2000 to 2004. Additional experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Florida, focusing on RNA-seq and ChIP-seq experiments across various organisms, and as Laboratory Manager at The Ohio State University.
