Muhammad Kamal

Muhammad Kamal is the Manager of IT at Pakistan International Container Terminal Ltd.

Muhammad has over 15 years of experience in the IT field. Muhammad started their career as a Business System Analyst at Premier Software (Pvt) Ltd. (Marine Group of Companies) in 2002. Muhammad then moved on to Pakistan International Container Terminal Limited (PICT) in 2003, where they held the position of Dy. Manager Information Technology until 2006. In this role, they were responsible for building the full IT capabilities from scratch, including the implementation of IT services, software, hardware, networking, and communication infrastructure. Muhammad also developed and managed the Information Security policy.

In 2006, Muhammad Kamal became the Manager of IT at Pakistan International Container Terminal Ltd, where they have been responsible for overseeing all IT operations and leading a team of IT professionals. Under their leadership, the company has successfully implemented a number of IT projects, including the rollout of a new WiFi infrastructure and the implementation of ISO27001-compliant IT governance policies and practices.

Muhammad Kamal is from Karachi, and they have a MS in Computer Science from Karachi University. Muhammad also has certifications from ISACA in COBIT-5 and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), as well as from Oracle in Oracle Certified DBA (OCP DBA).
