Omar Mahmood

Omar Mahmood's work experience includes being a Trainee Marine Engineer at Pakistan National Shipping Corporation since February 2022. Previously, they worked as a Graduate Trainee Officer at Matco Foods Limited from March 2021 to January 2022. Before that, they were an Engineering Apprentice at Karachi Port Trust from April 2017 to April 2018, where they gained experience working in a machine shop and welding shop.

Omar Mahmood has a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology. Omar also holds an Associate's degree in Marine Engineering from Pakistan Marine Academy. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including COC Class 4 from DG Ports & Shipping Pakistan in June 2023, Engine Plant Simulator from Pakistan Marine Academy in December 2022, and Registered Engineer status from Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in October 2021.
