Imaz Tanveer Virk is a Columnist for Pakistan Observer since January 2023 and an Opinion Writer for Modern Diplomacy since September 2020. Previously, Imaz served as a Research Intern at Pakistan Strategic Forum from July 2020 to February 2021 and completed an internship with International MUN from April 2020 to June 2020. Imaz is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Strategic Studies at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), having obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from National Defence University, Islamabad in February 2022.

Published in six cities, Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, Peshawar and Muzzafarabad. The newspaper was founded in 1988 by the veteran journalist late Zahid Malik.
