Tahir Aziz

Tahir Aziz is a seasoned professional in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Senior Manager (North) Corporate HSE and Sustainability at PTCL since November 2023, Tahir has developed and implemented HSE Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and conducted training sessions. Previously, Tahir held various roles at Weatherford, including HSE Team Lead and Senior Operations Engineer, where significant projects such as the last exploratory well in Baluchistan were successfully executed under challenging conditions. With expertise in HSE management systems, performance management, and cross-functional audits, Tahir has consistently contributed to safety culture and operational efficiency across multiple organizations, including Daqing Drilling Engineering Company and CNPC Chuanqing Drilling Engineering Company Limited. Tahir Aziz holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Engineering & Technology Peshawar and an MS in Project Management from Comsats.
