Basit Rehman is currently serving as Deputy Chief at the Ministry of Planning Development and Special Initiatives. Basit also holds the title of Assistant Chief at the same ministry. With a background in news broadcasting, Basit has worked as a News Anchor/Communicator at both Pakistan Television Corporation Limited and Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation. In addition to their government and media experience, Basit Rehman is also a Visiting Faculty member at Quaid-i-Azam University. Basit has a diverse educational background, including a Master of Business Administration in Management, Finance, and Human Resources from COMSATS University Islamabad.
