Jorn Spiertz

Jorn Spiertz has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Jorn is the Co-Founder and COO of Shiptimize, a technology partner for scaling E-commerce businesses. Jorn co-founded and served as the COO of PakketMail, an online platform for student-to-student accommodation called Erasmate.com. Jorn also worked as a Coordinator for HorecaVakPunt, where they managed cross-functional workgroups to achieve the organization's goals. Jorn has experience in the hospitality industry, working as an F&B Management Trainee at Holiday Inn Downtown Shanghai. Jorn has also been involved in the education sector as a Guest Speaker, Jury Panelist, and Review Committee member at Hotel Management School Maastricht. Additionally, they were a Boardmember and Chairman at Synchronicity043, a network of young entrepreneurs. Jorn has international experience in event catering with DO&CO, where they were part of the crew responsible for catering Formula 1, ATP Tennis, UEFA Champions League, and World Equestrian Festivals. Finally, they are currently a Vakexpert at Shopping Awards.

Jorn Spiertz holds a diverse education history. From 1998 to 2004, they attended Montessori Lyceum Amsterdam, where they pursued their VWO degree with a focus on Economics & Society. Following this, they enrolled at the Hotel Management School Maastricht from 2004 to 2008, earning their BBa degree specializing in Hotel Management. In 2006, Jorn briefly studied at Esade for a specific program in Hotel Management and Tourism. Subsequently, they pursued their MSc degree in International Business and Entrepreneurship at Maastricht University School of Business and Economics from 2009 to 2011.
