Alex Sancho

Alex Sancho's work experience includes a role as a Mechanical Engineer Team Lead at Pal Robotics since October 2021, where they are responsible for detailed design and development of mechanical parts and assemblies used in Humanoid and Service Robots. Prior to this, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Pal Robotics from February 2015 to October 2021, where they were involved in the detailed design and development of various mechanical parts and assemblies for Humanoid and Service Robots.

Before joining Pal Robotics, Alex worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Transición Profesional from October 2013 to February 2015. In this role, they served as a Mechanical Engineer, utilizing their expertise in mechanical engineering.

Earlier in their career, Alex worked as a Mechanical Engineer at UTC Fire & Security from April 2011 to September 2013. In this position, they were responsible for the detailed design and development of mechanical parts and assemblies used in the production of Fire Control and Detection Products and systems. Alex also handled product development schedules and cost estimation.

Alex also has experience as a Mechanical Engineer at Sony Electronics from February 2007 to December 2010.

Additionally, they worked as an R&D Engineer at ASCAMM Foundation from January 2000 to February 2007. In this role, they focused on the optimization of injection molding processes and conducted structural analysis using CAD/CAE tools.

Alex started their career as a Scholarship Product Designer in the bath's factory at Roca Sanitario, S.A. from February 1999 to September 1999, where they were involved in the development of sanitary products such as bathtubs, whirlpools, and showers.

Alex Sancho has a diverse education history. Alex obtained a Postgraduate degree in Design and transformation processes for Plastic and Metal components from the UPC School of Professional & Executive Development in 2010. Prior to that, they completed an MBA in Business Administration at ESERP BUSINESS SCHOOL from 2008 to 2010. In 2002, they attended Fundación ASCAMM and studied Plastic materials and transformation processes as part of their material engineering education. Alex also has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, which they completed from 1993 to 1999. Additionally, they obtained a certification in First Certificate in English from the University of Cambridge in 1993 and a certification in Formador en CAD Básico y CAD Avanzado from Unigraphics Solutions España, S.A. in 2000. In 1998, they received training as an Administrador de Sistemas CAD from Barcelona Centre de Tecnologies.
