Joshua Cummings Cissp, Psp, Sicc

Joshua Cummings has over 20 years of work experience in the field of technology and security. Joshua is currently serving as the EVP of Technology at Paladin Technologies since April 2022. Prior to that, Joshua worked at VTI Security where they held the positions of Vice President of Technology from January 2020 to April 2022, Director of Engineering Services from March 2014 to January 2020, and Engineering Manager from December 2006 to March 2014. Joshua was responsible for leading a team of engineers in designing and documenting security systems and networks. Joshua also worked as a Project Manager at UTC Fire & Security from May 1998 to December 2006. Joshua briefly served as a Project Manager at United Technologies in 2006. Overall, Joshua has demonstrated expertise in the technology and security industry throughout their career.

Joshua Cummings obtained their Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree in Psychology from Metropolitan State University of Denver from 1998 to 2002. In terms of additional certifications, they became a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in December 2018. Joshua also acquired the Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification from ASIS International in November 2019. Furthermore, they obtained the ASIS Member certification from ASIS International in January 2020. In November 2015, they received the SE: Technologies 2015 certification from EMC. Recently, in August 2021, they obtained the Security Industry Cybersecurity Certification from the Security Industry Association (SIA). Joshua is also acknowledged as a TIME Mentor by the Security Industry Association since February 2021.
