Darren Chen

Darren Chen is an incoming Software Engineer Intern at Palantir Technologies as of November 2023, with a strong background in computer science. Currently, Darren serves as a Teaching Assistant for Discrete Math and as a Residential Teaching Assistant for the Engineering Summer Academy at the University of Pennsylvania, where studies are focused on computer science. Recent internship experience includes a Software Engineer Intern position at Northwestern Mutual and a Data Analyst role with the Wharton Analytics Fellows. Previous work as an ML Research Intern at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia involved developing deep learning models for autism diagnoses, alongside experience tutoring programming and mathematics. Darren holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, expected in May 2025, and graduated from State College Area High School in 2021.
