Matthew Thomas

Matthew Thomas is an experienced software engineer and leader in technology, currently serving as the Fleet Operations Division Lead at Palantir Technologies since December 2019, and previously holding various roles including Forward Deployed Software Engineer and Tech Lead. Matthew's expertise includes developing complex software solutions, focusing on authentication systems and consumer behavior analysis at Reckon and implementing streaming architectures at Palantir. As a founder of Afternight and co-founder of Tokom, Matthew demonstrated entrepreneurial skills in providing software solutions and enhancing e-commerce capabilities. Matthew has a background in consulting with 180 Degrees Consulting and has undergone extensive training in agile development at ThoughtWorks. Matthew holds a dual degree in Software Engineering and Commerce from UNSW, and is currently pursuing a Paramedic qualification.
