Samantha Saltess has extensive experience in coaching and journalism. As a Competitive Gymnastics Coach at Palatine Park District since 2007, Samantha has worked with children from preschool to eighth grade, specializing in levels 4 and 5 gymnastics. Additionally, as an Assistant Gymnastics Coach for Township High School District 214, Samantha has focused on developing athletes' strength, flexibility, and endurance. Samantha also contributes as a blogger for Rant Sports and as a freelance reporter for Palatine Patch, covering high school sporting events. With a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Iowa and currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Elementary Education at National Louis University, Samantha combines their passion for sports and communication with a strong educational foundation.
