George C. Kapetanakis

Fermentation Scientist and Strain engineer Lead at Paleo

George C. Kapetanakis has extensive work experience in the scientific field. George C. began their career as a PhD candidate at ULB in October 2017 and continued until June 2022. During this time, they worked as a PHD Candidate, conducting research and contributing to the field of study. In May 2022, George joined Paleo as a Research and Innovation Scientist, focusing on developing new scientific advancements. In January 2023, they were promoted to the role of Fermentation Scientist and Strain Engineer Lead, where they currently manage and oversees the fermentation processes and strain engineering projects.

George C. Kapetanakis has an education history that includes a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon, which they earned between the years of 2009 and 2014. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Microbial Biotechnology from the same institution, completing it from 2014 to 2016. Currently, George is a PhD candidate in Mollecular Microbiology and Physiology at Université libre de Bruxelles, starting in 2017.
