John Leonardo has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years, with a focus on marketing roles in various industries. John started their career as a Product Manager at ACNielsen, a global marketing research company. John then moved on to Nestle, where they served as a Marketing Manager, handling the marketing efforts for the WONKA confectionary brand portfolio. John later joined Blistex as a Brand Manager, responsible for managing the Stridex brand. Leonardo then worked at ACH Food Companies as a Brand Manager, overseeing various brands within the flavor enhancements, baking, and oils categories. John further expanded their experience at Farley's & Sathers Candy Company as a Sr. Brand Manager, managing popular candy brands. Leonardo then transitioned to Newell Rubbermaid as the Director of Global Marketing, responsible for leading the EXPO and uni-ball brands. John then joined Grecian Delight Foods as a Marketing Executive, leading retail and consumer marketing efforts for several branded products. Leonardo joined Post Holdings as the Director of Marketing, overseeing all marketing efforts for the Davidson's egg brand. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of Marketing at Palermo's Pizza, where they are responsible for leading the marketing organization and managing multiple brands within the frozen pizza industry.
John Leonardo completed their undergraduate education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1990 to 1994, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Marketing. John then pursued further education at Loyola University Chicago from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. During their time at Loyola University Chicago, John focused on Marketing and Management as their field of study.
