Ahmed Baraka

Ahmed Baraka has a diverse work experience in the water industry. Ahmed started their career in 1997 as the Head of Water Sector in Bani-Suhila Municipality, where they managed various tasks including customer services, billing, leak detection, and metering. In 2003, they joined the Palestinian Water Authority as a mechanical engineer in the Technical Directorate. During this time, they worked on projects related to desalination units. Since 2006, they have held the position of Head of R&D Department, where they have been responsible for managing the MEDRC Master Scholarships program.

Ahmed Baraka holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Faculty of Eng. & Technology, University of Sebha, Lyb. Prior to this, they completed their High School education and received a Secondary School certificate from El-Motanabi Secondary School in Abassan, Gaza.
