Thao Tran

Thao Tran has worked in various roles since 2006. Thao started as a Research Associate at Vancouver General Hospital, then moved to BC Cancer Foundation as a Project Coordinator. In 2010, they joined Global Link as a Retail Operations Manager. In 2013, they became the Director of Business Development at Runway, a high-end concept store in Vietnam. In 2020, they joined Palexy Pte. Ltd. as the Head of Customer Success, where they successfully helped clients achieve value for their retail stores, including increasing the conversion rate by nearly 10%, saving up to 25% of the labor cost, increasing profit per unit by 20%, and increasing shopper visits to strategic diamond jewelry section by 9X.

Thao Tran attended Le Hong Phong High School For The Gifted, HCMC, Vietnam, followed by Simon Fraser University where they earned a Bachelor's degree. Thao then went on to Columbia University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Biotechnology.
