Gerhard Luger

Gerhard Luger has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Gerhard currently serves as the Bürgermeister (Mayor) of Gemeinde St. Georgen am Fillmannsbach since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at PALFINGER AG from 2019 to 2021, where they held the positions of Head of Sales & Outbound Product Management Installations and Product Management Turnkey Solutions. From 2014 to 2019, Gerhard worked as a Project Manager for Marine & Offshore Cranes at PALFINGER MARINE. Before joining PALFINGER, they worked at Binderberger Maschinenbau GmbH as an Entwicklungsingenieur (Development Engineer) from 2009 to 2014.

Gerhard Luger completed their education in two different institutions. From 2003 to 2008, they attended HTL Braunau am Inn, where they studied Elektronik - Bionik & Sensortechnik. Gerhard did not earn a degree during this period. Later, from 2013 to 2016, they enrolled at Hochschule Mittweida, where they pursued a degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurswesen and graduated with a Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur (FH) degree.
