Amanda Newell, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, has a diverse range of work experience in the field of human resources. Currently, they hold the position of 2nd Vice President U.S. Regional Human Resources at Pan-American Life Insurance Group. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Human Resources - U.S. at Rain Carbon Inc from November 2020 to July 2022.

Amanda Newell, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, has a strong educational background and a variety of certifications in the field of Human Resources. Amanda obtained a Master of Jurisprudence degree in Labor and Employment Law from Tulane University Law School, completing their studies from 2022 to 2023. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Human Resource Management from Southeastern Louisiana University, graduating between 2009 and 2011. Amanda also attended Delgado Community College from 2007 to 2009, where they studied Business Administration and Management.

In addition to their education, Amanda has obtained multiple certifications in Human Resources. Amanda became a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in March 2023. In March 2022, they obtained the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Prior to these certifications, they achieved the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designation in 2018 and the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from HRCI in 2016. Earlier in their career, they also obtained the Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification from the American Payroll Institute in 2011 and the Fundamentals of Payroll Certification (FPC) from the same institution in 2010.
