Karyn Dasent

Karyn Dasent, MBA, SPHR, serves as Vice President - Regional Chief Operations Officer at Pan-American Life Insurance Group since February 2018, focusing on strategic direction and oversight of insurance operations across the Caribbean. Previously, Karyn held the position of Vice President- Regional Human Resources, playing a crucial role in the organization's response to the COVID-19 pandemic and driving cultural change as part of the Company’s Transformation Agenda. Prior roles include Group Corporate Services Manager at Flavorite Foods Limited, where Karyn supported strategic goals across multiple companies, and various human resource positions in government and private sectors, emphasizing service delivery excellence and HR consultancy. Karyn holds an MBA with a specialization in HR from the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business and a BA in Psychology from Concordia University.
