Managing Director, Strategy and Corporate Development at Palladium

Chris Lee is Managing Director of Strategy and Corporate Development. Based in Washington DC, he oversees the company’s long-range planning, mergers and acquisitions, corporate venturing, and strategic partnership activities globally. Prior to Palladium, Chris was with the Milken Institute where he was Director of the Center for Financial Markets and Co-Chair of the FasterCures Biomedical Innovation Incubator. Through previous roles as an entrepreneur, civil servant with USAID, private equity investor, and investment banker, he has developed strategies and completed transactions across nearly 30 countries and 10 sectors. Chris has dedicated much of his career to attracting investment to underserved markets. His writing on the topic has appeared in popular outlets such as Reuters and The Hill, as well as professional publications including MIT Innovations, BioCentury, and American Banker. In addition, he has served on various boards and advisory councils, and his current volunteer activities include roles with the U.S Food & Drug Administration, CureSearch for Children’s Cancer, Kyeema Foundation, and numerous early-stage technology companies. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia, where he studied commerce and foreign affairs. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family and playing various musical instruments.
