Mark Akanko Achaw

Mark Akanko Achaw is a senior health financing expert with extensive experience in coordinating and providing technical advisory services across various health financing initiatives in Africa. Currently serving as the Senior Regional Technical Advisor for Health Financing at Palladium, Achaw has significantly contributed to projects such as the USAID-funded PROPEL Health and Rwanda Integrated Health Systems Activity. As a co-founder of Inspinest, Achaw is dedicated to nurturing young African entrepreneurs. Additionally, Achaw founded Maariba Limited, focusing on market access for artisans in developing countries, while also holding roles in health insurance product development and agricultural insurance market analysis. Achaw's career encompasses consulting for esteemed organizations and leading various developmental projects aimed at enhancing health insurance and financial systems in multiple countries. Achaw holds an MPhil in Sustainability Studies from the University of Oslo.
