Nilkanth Patel

Nilkanth Patel is a seasoned professional in product engineering and design with a diverse background in software development and management. Currently serving as the Head of Product Engineering at Pallet since March 2025, Nilkanth previously worked as a Software Engineer at DoorDash from February 2021 to March 2025. Nilkanth co-founded Herald and held the position of Manager, Frontend Engineering at Quantcast, where responsibilities included overseeing front-end engineering services and managing teams on design frameworks and interfaces. Earlier roles also include Senior Product Designer and Product Designer at Quantcast, and freelance Graphics Editor at The New York Times. Nilkanth holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University and completed the Y Combinator YC W19 Batch.
