Douglas Dukes

Douglas Dukes has over 15 years of experience in technology development and product development. From 2018 to present, they have worked as the Director of Technology Development at Pallidus, Inc. From 2014 to 2018, they worked as the Director of Technology Programs and Sr. Product Developer at Melior Innovations. From 2010 to 2014, they worked at Momentive as the Advanced Optical Materials Platform Leader and Innovation Research Scientist. From 2006 to 2010, they were a Graduate Student Researcher at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they explored the behavior of grafted polymer chains on nanoparticle surfaces. From 2004 to 2006, they were a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Santa Barbara, where they enhanced the impact damage tolerance of aircraft and spacecraft thermal protection systems.

Douglas Dukes completed their Bachelor of Science in Materials Science & Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2004. Douglas then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Materials from UC Santa Barbara, which they completed in 2006. Finally, they received their Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2010.
