Willem Erasmus started their work experience in 2007 as a Technology Team Manager at Maximus International. Willem then moved on to Healthdirect Australia, where they held multiple roles including Solution Architect, Platform Engineering Manager, and eventually Platform Service Director. In 2019, they joined Versent as a Principal Consultant. In 2020, they became the Head of Engineering at Rest. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Architecture and Data at Pallion, starting in 2023.

Willem Erasmus completed their Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Johannesburg from 1996 to 1998. Willem then pursued an Honours degree in Information Technology from the same university in 1999.
