Elizabeth Roebling is an accomplished journalist and educator with extensive experience in various roles. Since January 2006, Elizabeth has served as an International Press Observer and Journalist for Inter Press Service, focusing on the Dominican Republic and Haiti. Concurrently, since January 2017, Elizabeth has worked as an English Tutor and Literacy Coach for the Palm Beach County Library System after previously tutoring at Speak American from November 2004 to January 2017. Elizabeth has also contributed as an Advisor for the Martin Luther King Association in Asheville, NC, from January 1998 to December 2004, specializing in program development and fundraising. Notably, Elizabeth was a Prisoner of Conscience from March 1999 to May 2003, advocating against the use of Vieques Island as a military bombing range. Additionally, from January 1986 to January 1991, Elizabeth served as the Director of the Planetary Evolution Committee, merging peace and environmental movements. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Hunter College, City University of New York.
