Max la Mura

Max La Mura is an experienced librarian and program coordinator with a strong background in library services and community engagement. Currently serving as Past President, President, and President Elect of the Palm Beach County Library Association, Max has been a key figure at the Palm Beach County Library System since November 2019 as Librarian II- Head of Children and Teen Services and previously as Librarian I- Research Librarian. Responsibilities include program development for various age groups, technology assistance, and research support. Max has extensive experience in youth library services, acquired during tenure at Miami-Dade Public Library System, along with managing program services and social media for Boca Raton Public Library. Educational qualifications include a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of South Florida and dual master's degrees in Music Performance and Commercial Music Business from Florida Atlantic University.
