George Forman

COO at Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office

Chief Operating Officer George Forman serves as Senior Executive Staff for the Department of Administrative Operations. He has direct oversight of the C-Suite and is responsible for the Finance, Technology, Human Resources/Risk Management and Commercial Services Bureaus. COO Forman is active in many professional, fraternal and philanthropic organizations, including Leadership Florida’s Cornerstone Class XXXVI, Leadership Florida’s Gulfstream Council, American Heart Association’s – Palm Beach Board, The Lord’s Place Board of Directors, Palm Beach County’s Investment Policy Board, Lincoln Financial Group’s National Consumer Advisory Council, as well as serving as Chair of PBSO’s 457 Fiduciary Board and as the Executive Sponsor for the Broken Star Foundation.

COO Forman holds an MPA from Nova Southeastern University, a BS in Economics from Florida State University, is an alumnus of Harvard John F. Kennedy School of Government’s (HKS) Senior Executives in State and Local Government program, holds a Certificate in Public Leadership from HKS, as well as a designation as a Certified Government Finance Officer (CGFO).

Throughout his twenty plus year tenure he and his commands have received numerous accolades, a few recent include, the National Procurement Institute’s Achievement in Excellence, 100 Best Fleets in America and the Cigna Well-Being Award.
