Michael Butler

Michael Butler has over 37 years of experience in technology and network services, currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer for Networking and Communications at Palm Beach County since November 1986. In this role, Michael oversees the design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of all data, voice, and video network services for the Palm Beach County Government, including cellular, VOIP, video conferencing, and network security. Prior to this position, Michael worked as the Manager of Airport Automation and Test Engineer at Laboratory Data Control from March 1983 to November 1986, specializing in the development of laser-controlled high-pressure liquid chromatography equipment. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology, earned between 1980 and 1983.
