Dr. Anna Betka is a skilled music professional currently serving on the Music Staff of the Canadian Opera Company and The Glimmerglass Festival, as well as holding the position of Associate Principal Coach at Palm Beach Opera. With a membership in the music staff at The Glimmerglass Festival since May 2022 and previous roles including Assistant Coach during the summer seasons of 2019 and 2020, Anna brings a wealth of experience in coaching and education. Prior positions include copywriting and editing for The Lobkowicz Collections and adjunct professorship at Adelphi University. Anna's educational background includes a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) and Master of Music (MM) from Stony Brook University, along with a Bachelor of Music (Hons) in Piano Performance from the University of Toronto and an A.R.C.T. in Singing from The Royal Conservatory of Music.

Palm Beach Opera is dedicated to producing live opera at an international standard of excellence and to enriching the life of the communities it serves with a diverse offering of educational programs. Founded in 1961, the fully professional Palm Beach Opera presents mainstage performances at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach and is a proud member of OPERA America the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County. Currently in their 53rd Season, Palm Beach Opera offers a variety of cultural programs from December through April including Opera @ the Waterfront – a free outdoor opera concert with PBO Orchestra and Chorus at the Meyer Amphitheatre, fully staged mainstage opera productions, a 5 month Young Artist Program for emerging professional opera singers, Young Artist Productions and educational programs, such as Children’s Performance, One Opera in One Hour, Concerts in the Classroom, Opera Rehearsal 101, and PBO Studio. Guest artists are internationally acclaimed, come to Palm Beach Opera from both the US and abroad, and have performed at all major opera houses worldwide. The Palm Beach Opera Chorus (up to 50 local singers who are committed to the highest musical values) and the Palm Beach Opera Orchestra (up to 75 musicians who have worked with major professional orchestras both nationally and internationally) enhance the company’s artistic productions. Palm Beach Opera is governed by a 24-member strong Board of Directors, and has an annual operating budget of $4.5-$5.00MM.
