Matthew Clouse

Matthew Clouse is an experienced museum professional currently serving as the Registrar for Loans and Exhibitions at the Palm Springs Art Museum since February 2023. Prior to this role, Matthew held the position of Museum Registrar at the University of California, Riverside from February 2018 to February 2023, where responsibilities included documentation of the permanent collection, policy development, and assistance in achieving museum accreditation. Matthew's career also includes roles at various institutions, such as the Daum Museum of Contemporary Art and the Joslyn Art Museum, where responsibilities encompassed care of collections, exhibition coordination, and educational outreach. In addition to museum work, Matthew has experience in yoga instruction, holding certifications and teaching classes at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and Yoga Now. Matthew earned a Master's degree in Museum Studies from the University of Leicester, a 200-hour yoga instructor certification, and a Bachelor's degree in Art History from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
