Simón Gabay

Simón Gabay has a diverse range of work experience in creative roles. Simón began their career as an intern at 141 Coimbra, where they eventually became a Junior Art Director. In this position, they collaborated with copywriters to develop visual concepts, presented results to clients, and supervised creative development for various brands.

Moving forward, Gabay worked as a Concept Artist at Lulomotion Animation. Simón contributed to the design of background environments for several TV series and cinematic projects, drawing inspiration from historical figures and fictional dystopias.

Gabay then joined Leo Burnett as an Art Director, where they focused on digital marketing for Kellogg's Company. Simón worked closely with copywriters to develop creative campaigns for social media platforms and oversaw the execution of layout designs.

At ARS DDB, Gabay served as an Art Director and worked with clients such as Tracker GPS Service, Cervecería Regional, and Toyota Venezuela. Simón'sresponsibilities included representing concepts visually, determining design elements, and presenting designs for client approval.

Most recently, Gabay held two roles at PALM ERA. Simón began as the Head of Art, contributing to the agency's solutions-driven approach and creating memorable experiences between consumers and brands. Simón then became the Creative Director, leading a team in the production of web, print, and digital marketing. Simón'sresponsibilities included supervising graphic designers, copywriters, and social media managers, establishing production schedules, and reviewing and approving art and copy.

Throughout their career, Gabay has worked with a wide range of clients, including C&W Business, Toyota Venezuela, Karisma Hotels & Resorts, Bimbo, and UNICEF.

Simón Gabay pursued a Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts from Universidad de los Andes (VE) starting in 2010. It is unclear when this degree will be completed or if it has already been obtained. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2007, they attended Instituto de Diseño Perera where they obtained a degree in Graphic Design. It can be inferred that their education in the field of graphic design took place before their pursuit of a degree in visual arts.
