Michael Beam

Michael Beam has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Michael began their career in 1981 as a Night Manager at Julies Place Restaurant. From 1983 to 1986, they worked as a Senior Auditor at South Carolina Credit Union League, where they oversaw audits, audit teams, and provided consultation services for computer functions. In 1986, they joined Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union as their Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and later became the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Executive Vice President - COO/CFO at Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union.

Michael Beam attended the University of South Carolina from 1979 to 1983, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting. In 2007 and 2008, they enrolled in the Graduate School of Bank Investments and Financial Management at the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business, although the specific degree they pursued during this period is unknown.
