Jonathan Monk

Jonathan Monk is an accomplished professional in the field of bioinformatics and analytics, currently serving as Vice President of Bioinformatics at Avellino and Head of Bioinformatics and Analytics at Palmona Pathogenomics since April 2021. Prior to these roles, Jonathan held positions as Co-Founder and General Manager at Palmona Pathogenomics, Computational & Data Science Researcher at the Systems Biology Research Group, and Research Scientist at Sinopia Biosciences. Educationally, Jonathan obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego. Early career experiences include a New Technology Associate role with the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and an internship at Intel Corporation.
