Rachel Samoff has extensive experience in early childhood education and community service, currently serving as the Board Chair and Board Member for Palo Alto Community Child Care since July 2014. Additionally, Rachel has been a Santa Clara First Five Commissioner since 2007, contributing to initiatives that support child development in Santa Clara County. Rachel also held the position of Executive Director at The Children's Pre-School Center from July 1984 to July 2013, where Rachel established a child development center for Syntex employees. Rachel's educational background includes a Master's degree in Education from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

PACCC is a non-profit child care agency serving children ages 2 months through fifth grade in the Palo Alto area. Partnering with the City of Palo Alto and the Palo Alto Unified School District, PACCC offers financial aid to qualifying families.
