Harsh Verma

Harsh Verma is an experienced professional in artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently serving as a Founding Limited Partner and Fellow at Progressive Ventures since August 2024. Previously, Verma worked at Palo Alto Networks from May 2019 to May 2025, holding positions such as Principal Software Engineer focused on Generative AI solutions, Senior Staff Software Engineer specializing in security policy optimization, and Staff Software Engineer responsible for scaling real-time data-intensive systems. Early career experience includes roles as a Machine Learning Engineer at Hypergiant and a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Dallas. Verma holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas and an Executive Business Management degree from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
