Ravishankar Subramaniyan

Ravishankar Subramaniyan is a seasoned software engineering professional with a robust background in system design and implementation. Currently serving as a Sr Principal Engineer at Palo Alto Networks since December 2023, Ravishankar previously held the position of Principal Engineer at Citrix from June 2017 to December 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Staff Software Engineer at A10 Networks, Senior Software Engineer at Cisco Systems, and various engineering positions, including Graduate Research Associate at The Ohio State University. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Computer Science from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the College of Engineering, Guindy. Ravishankar has contributed to critical projects, notably in queuing functionality for the Nexus 7000 Data plane at Cisco, and has experience in security applications development for mobile platforms.
