Elon Glucklich has extensive work experience in journalism and marketing. Elon began their career as a Reporter for the Herald and News, where they wrote over 500 articles and developed strong research and self-starting skills. Elon then moved on to The Bulletin as a Reporter, focusing on business and economic issues. During this time, they received recognition from the Society of Professional Journalists for their reporting on foreclosure cases in Central Oregon. Following that, Glucklich worked as a Business Reporter for The Register-Guard, where they led coverage in the Southern Willamette Valley and increased digital engagement through website content management and social media. Elon also freelanced at The Lund Report as a Healthcare/COVID-19 Correspondent, writing numerous articles related to the pandemic and statewide health policy issues. Additionally, they worked as a Freelance Technology/Business Writer, contributing to the Technology Association of Oregon's content marketing publications and writing articles promoting Oregon's technology ecosystem. Currently, Glucklich is an Inbound Marketing Specialist at Palo Alto Software.
Elon Glucklich completed their Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Oregon, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. After several years, they pursued higher education and obtained a Master's of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Oregon Lundquist College of Business. Elon specialized in Innovation and Entrepreneurship as well as Advanced Strategy and Leadership during their MBA program, which they completed from 2019 to 2021.
Apart from their formal education, Elon Glucklich also earned certifications in different fields. In September 2020, they participated in the GSV Startup Bootcamp offered by GSV Ventures and obtained certification. Additionally, in August 2020, they completed the Venture Deals Summer 2020 Course and obtained a certification from NovoEd.
