Josh Cochrane

Josh Cochrane is the VP of Product at Palo Alto Software. Josh has over 20 years of experience in product management and marketing communications.

Cochrane started their career as a technical writer for FabTrol Systems, creating early web-based software documentation. Josh then moved into marketing communications and built the company's marketing department from scratch. Cochrane wrote and designed marketing collateral, direct marketing campaigns, and took the company online, building a respectable web presence for the time.

After nearly 10 years with FabTrol Systems, Cochrane moved into product management, focusing on market requirements, development planning, user research, and user experience design. In 2006, they left FabTrol Systems to join Advanstar Publishing as managing editor for a series of industry-specific trade journals.

After four years with Advanstar Publishing, Cochrane joined Palo Alto Software as VP of Product in 2010. Josh has since been responsible for overseeing the company's product strategy and roadmap, as well as working with the engineering team to bring new products to market.

Josh Cochrane's educational career includes a degree in law from Emory University School of Law, as well as a BA in Josh'story from the University of Oregon. Josh also has a degree in Managing Teams for Innovation and Success from Stanford University Graduate School of Business Executive Education.

Josh Cochrane reports to Sabrina Parsons, CEO. They are on a team with Noah Parsons - COO, Trevor Betenson - CFO, and Shad Stafford - VP of Engineering.
