Gurkamal Dhaliwal is a Research Assistant at the Palo Alto Veterans Institute for Research, involved in investigations on stem cells under the guidance of Dr. Thomas Rando since June 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a Front Desk Assistant at AcessorEyes Optometry from January to March 2020, where responsibilities included managing patient insurance information, maintaining medical records in compliance with HIPAA, preparing patients for appointments, and conducting initial eye tests. Gurkamal holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Cell Developmental Biology from UCLA, earned in June 2019.
