Shamik Guha Ray

Shamik Guha Ray is a seasoned Sr. Cloud Engineer and DevOps Lead currently working at PALO IT for the Ministry of Manpower in Singapore since December 2022, focusing on cloud design, architecture, migration, and containerization with a strong emphasis on AWS technologies. With previous roles at Prudential Singapore and the Housing & Development Board, Shamik successfully led migration projects and cloud SRE activities. Prior experiences include serving as a Senior Cloud Engineer at HCL Technologies for Apple and at Oracle, where Shamik specialized in migrating clients to cloud platforms and automating operational processes. Shamik began a career in e-commerce development and support at Cognizant, demonstrating a consistent trajectory of technical leadership and innovation in cloud and DevOps practices. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Information Technology from Christ University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Techno India Institute of Technology.
