Edny Inui

Edny Inui, PhD, MBA has a diverse work experience in the fields of business development, investment, and analysis in the life sciences industry. Edny is currently working as a Principal at Palo Santo, a psychedelic therapeutics investment fund. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Business Development at Calico Life Sciences, where they managed strategic partnerships and collaborations. Edny also has experience as a Limited Partner at Portfolia, an investing member of various funds focused on supporting entrepreneurial companies led by women and/or diverse founder teams. Edny has also held positions as a Strategic Advisor at Diviner, Director of Business Development at Caribou Biosciences, Senior Manager of Strategy and Business Development at ACADIA Pharmaceuticals Inc., and Senior Biotechnology Analyst at Biomedtracker. Edny began their career as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UC San Diego Health System.

Edny Inui, PhD, MBA holds a BS degree in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Edny also has a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Michigan. In addition, Edny earned their Executive MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Edny completed their high school education at New Bedford High School. Furthermore, Edny obtained the Certified Licensing Professional certification from Certified Licensing Professionals, Inc. in 2019.
