Christina Arredondo, MD, MPH, FAPA, currently serves as the Medical Director of Behavioral Health at El Rio Community Health Center since August 2020. In addition, Christina has held various psychiatrist roles at Sonora Behavioral Health Hospital, Palo Verde Behavioral Health, and Aligned TeleHealth. From July 2017 to August 2023, Christina was the Medical Director at the New Beginnings MAT Clinic for the Pascua Yaqui Tribe Health Services Division. Earlier experience includes positions at ConnectionsAZ, COPE Community Services, and the Stanford Prevention Research Center. Christina earned a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Washington, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Carleton College.

Palo Verde Behavioral Health (PVBH) (A UHS Hospital) is a private psychiatric facility providing inpatient and intensive outpatient behavioral health treatment programs for adolescents and adults. Our trained psychiatrists, licensed registered nurses, clinical social workers and licensed professional counselors provide quality, compassionate care. Our inpatient facility offers 84 patient beds within 4 units. We also offer many outpatient options as well.
