Laura Barry

Laura Barry is the Director for Palomar Health Board, District 4. She grew up in Pasadena and San Diego, and established her career in the broadcast software industry in Denver and San Francisco, providing consulting, training and installation support to clients around the world. Laura returned to Vista in 2008 when her mother became ill, and is currently living in Escondido with her husband Greg Walsh. Since recently retiring, after 30 years in the software business, she was looking for an opportunity to support healthcare in her local community. As an Escondido resident, she wants to support Palomar Health’s mission to heal, comfort and promote health, as well as help provide a safe and supportive environment for our care providers and physicians, maintain fiscal stability and expand community-based care and responsiveness.
