Veer Vithalani

Veer Vithalani has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Veer started their career as a Medical Student Observer at Scripps Health in 2005. Veer later worked as a Medical Student at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust from 2008 to 2011. Veer then joined JPS Health Network, where they served as an Emergency Medicine Resident from 2011 to 2014 and later as an Attending Emergency Physician from 2014 to 2022. During this time, they also held the role of EMS Director at Integrative Emergency Services from 2015 to 2022. In 2017, they became an Emergency Physician at EMC of TeamHealth until 2022. Veer also worked as an Emergency Physician at Emergent Medical Associates from 2022 and is currently working at Palomar Health as a Base Hospital Medical Director and an Emergency Physician. Additionally, they served as the Chief Medical Officer, Associate Medical Director, and Interim Medical Director at MedStar Mobile Healthcare from 2015 to 2023. Veer also held the position of System Medical Director at the Office of the Medical Director from 2020 to 2023, providing medical direction and oversight to the MAEMSA system. With their extensive experience and varied roles, Veer Vithalani has developed a strong background in emergency medicine and medical administration.

Veer Vithalani completed their education in the field of medicine. Veer obtained a BSc Hons in Medical Science from the University of St Andrews in 2008. Veer then attended The University of Manchester from 2008 to 2011, where they earned an MD (MBChB) degree in Medicine. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Emergency Medicine and Emergency Medical Services Subspecialty from the American Board of Emergency Medicine, in 2015 and 2017 respectively.
