Laura Locker

Laura Locker has extensive experience in education, currently serving as the Head of Department at Tolleson Unified High School District since July 2014. In addition to this role, Laura has been involved with The International Baccalaureate since February 2004 as a Workshop Leader, Site Visitor, and Examiner. Furthermore, Laura contributes to Pamoja as part of the Teaching Faculty and Faculty Advisory Team since August 2011. Previous positions include teaching IB Spanish and Theory of Knowledge at Willow Canyon High School and various teaching roles in Spanish, ELL, and reading at JSPHS and Grand Canyon Unified School District. Earlier career experience includes teaching at Ruamrudee International School, the American School of Bangkok, and providing language instruction to diplomats with the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Laura holds a Master's degree in Education from Framingham State College and a Bachelor's degree in International Studies from Universidad de Monterrey.
