Charles Needham

Charles Needham is an Independent Non-Executive Director at Pan African Resources. Charles has over 30 years of experience in the mining industry, starting their career in the finance department of Metorex. Charles progressed through the ranks to General Management and eventually became CFO and CEO of Metorex. After Jinchuan Group acquired Metorex, Charles continued to work with them as a subsidiary board member and consultant.

In April 2010, Charles became the Chairman of Alphamin Resources, a tin mining company operating in the North Eastern region of the DRC. Charles also serves on the board of Pan African Resources, and is a member of the Remco and Audit Committee. In addition to their work in the mining industry, Charles is also a board representative of Metquip (Pty) Ltd, Imagined Earth, and Orpheus Properties.
