Federico Joaquín Torres

Federico Joaquín Torres has extensive experience in project leadership and engineering within the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as the Upstream Midstream Infrastructure Project Leader at Pan American Energy since July 2017, Federico oversees major capital projects in engineering and construction. Previous roles include Project Team Leader for the Refinery Expansion Project at Refinería Campana and a leadership position in engineering project management, specifically in capital investment execution. In addition to industry experience, Federico is a Full Professor of Electronics at Facultad de Ingeniería del Ejército, contributing to the education of engineering students. Prior work includes roles at AXION energy and Tecna, focusing on instrumentation and control for various high-profile projects. Federico holds an MBA from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella and additional degrees in telecommunications and electronic engineering.
