Francisco Villarreal

Francisco Villarreal serves as the Group CFO at Pan American Energy since April 2021. Previously, extensive experience was gained at BP from January 2009 to April 2021, where roles included Lead PAEG Shareholder Team, VP of Structured Finance for EMEA and Asia Pacific, and Treasury Chief of Staff. Prior to this, commercial and marketing leadership was demonstrated as the Director of Gas STL at TNK-BP from February 2006 to November 2008. Francisco began a career at BP in October 1990, holding various positions in Treasury, M&A, and Chemicals, culminating in the role of Commercial Manager for Gas Power and Renewables. Educational credentials include an MBA in Finance from INSEAD (1995-1996), an MSc in Economics from The London School of Economics (1988-1990), and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes (1983-1988).
