Martin Zubiri

Martin Zubiri currently serves as the Exploration & New Projects Development Manager at Pan American Energy, a position held since July 2023, having previously worked in various roles, including Exploration Geoscience Manager. Prior experience spans a decade at Galp, where Martin held titles such as Chief Geologist & Namibia Exploration Manager, leading technical studies and generating significant discoveries. Martin also acted as Interim Upstream Director and managed exploration assets across multiple regions, including Brazil, East and West Africa, and Portugal. Earlier career highlights include leading offshore evaluations with Saudi Aramco, contributing to exploration initiatives at Tecpetrol, and supporting non-conventional reservoir projects at Repsol. Martin Zubiri holds a Bachelor's degree in Geological and Earth Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires and a postgraduate specialization in Geophysics from REPSOL-YPF.
