Akil Williams

Akil Williams is an experienced public health professional currently serving as an International Consultant with the Pan American Health Organization, focusing on vaccine safety and immunization events. In addition, Akil holds a position as a Technical Officer at the Caribbean Public Health Agency, addressing climate change and health, as well as contributing to the Caribbean Regional - Field Epidemiology and Laboratory Training Program. With a background in academia, Akil has facilitated courses related to epidemiology and statistics at the University of the West Indies and has worked in various roles in health research and epidemiology since 2018. Akil's educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Epidemiology and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Nutritional Science from the University of the West Indies.
